Grants from the Verification Fund can be used to purchase external services for one or more of the following purposes:
A freedom to operate analysis ensures that you are not infringing on existing patents in the market when launching a product or in the development phase of a new product.
A minimum viable product (MVP) is a version (prototype) of a product with just enough features to be usable by early customers who can then provide feedback for future product development. Obtaining insights through an MVP is often more cost-effective than developing a product with more features, as it reduces the risk of drawing incorrect conclusions that could lead to product failure.
